I am a Son, a Sibling, a Husband, a Father to 2 awesome kids and most importantly FREE, b/c I wasn’t always free and statistically speaking most Americans aren’t either.  And when I mean Freedom; I mean the freedom to have options. Options to have choices, choices that I am fortunate to have.

My Name is Onaje Barnes ..I grew up in 3rd Ward Houston, Tx as the 3rd child of four to a single mother. Not having enough money to make ends meet was always an issue. Despite that; this phenomenal woman raised 4 college graduates.  Personally, I was able to graduate Salutatorian of my High School Class at Jack Yates H.S. and go on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics. After graduation, I was able to obtain a job at a fortune 500 company but after only 3 years, that company merged with a larger company and laid off 25K people. At that moment I learned that NO company would get me wealthy, provide long-term stable income or allow me to retire with dignity. Although I had a "prestigious economics degree" , it had not taught me anything about how to build wealth without a job. That degree taught me how to be a great employee, but companies are fundamentally in business to make money… FOR THEIR OWNERS… NOT get their employees rich. And that is perfectly fine. All that means; is that I had to go back to school, the school of personal Economics and Real Estate. After 1.5 years of reading books , podcasts, & google; we were able to buy our first "Ugly Home " in a great neighborhood. Then I went to school of Hard Knocks and busted pipes. The School of Hard Knocks along with my strong ability to use data analytics from the corporate world has yielded the acquisition of a strong portfolio to provide generational wealth for my family.

We are long term buy and hold investors in the Houston area with a varied housing portfolio. We pride ourselves in providing quality homes for our tenants and wonderful accommodations for our short term guests. 

We can also assist other investors through the entire process of acquisition, leasing and sustainability in any market.
